Jorge Masis Aguilar
M.Sc. Integrated Water Resource Management ALC (UCR-CR)
Jorge’s journey began with a passion for the environment and a dedication to making a difference. As a research assistant at TH Köln, he specialized in environmental management, water resources, and remote data handling. One of his most notable projects took him to Central America, including Honduras, where he researched crop fields and used satellite images to detect floods. This hands-on experience in using remote sensing for practical applications has been crucial in developing innovative solutions that empower farming communities and enhance their resilience to flooding.
